Head coach of Crystal Palace, Tony Pulis wants to push his club out of the bottom spots of the Premier League and will try on accomplishing it by bringing in new arrivals to Crystal Palace.
“The window’s open now and we’re looking to do some business; we need to do some business. We have to bring in people to strengthen us. If you bring the right players in, if you can bring one or two in and they gel quickly enough then they can certainly help you turn your season around or give you that push that you need to get over the line’’.
“The important thing at this football club is that we bring players in who have got something to prove. I don’t want to be bringing in players who just want to jog through six months. We need people who are going to roll their sleeves up, work hard and make a difference and add to what we’ve got already’’.
“I’ve got a list of players, the chairman Steve Parish has got that list of players. We need to get deals done if we’re going to push on.
Some of the players that have sparked the interest of Tony Pulis are Tom Ince and Nikica Jelavic and it is believed that he is preparing an offer of around €4 million in order to secure the services of Jelavic who is currently having more time on the sidelines of Everton than on the actual pitch. Tom Ince might be a harder player for Pulis to sign as there are many other clubs interested in signing the player of Blackpool.
What Tony Pulis ideally wants is to keep Crystal Palace in the Premier League at what costs whatever that might be. Demba Ba is a high profile player that Pulis has on his radar as he is hoping that a loan deal can be made with Jose Mourinho.
Demba Ba is not a regular starter for Chelsea and even when he does get the chance to perform, his performances have not impressed Mourinho who is now allowing Fernando Torres more playing time and it’s the chance that Pulis needs to sign him up even if it is just on a loan deal.
