Leeds United have reportedly made an enquiry on the possibility of signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder MatheusNunes this summer. Portuguese media outlet Record revealed that Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch is keen to boost his midfield options with the signing of Nunes from immediate past Portuguese top flight league champions Sporting Lisbon.
Leeds United are not the only Premier League team linked with Nunes. Apart from Leeds, Premier League clubs suchas Liverpool, Chelsea, Fulham and Newcastle United have also been touted as possible transfer destination forNunes.
In midfield, Marsch has already strengthened his squad with Tyler Adams and Marc Roca. Spaniard Roca is a defensive midfielder, while American star Tyler Adams is a versatile midfielder. Marsch is keen to add an attacking midfielder likeNunes to his squad.
The aforementioned media outlet disclosed that Leeds United have already asked about the availability of Nunes.
