Our Prem Acca & £50 in Free Bets

We’re ready for the new season! The Italy and England shirts have been packed away, and now it’s back to the real deal. The summer was fun, but Saturday’s are so boring without Premier League football!

Our partners at BetFred have £50 in free bets for new players (click below) and this is how we’d spend it…

So we're keeping it simple with a 4 team Accumulator bet on the Prem, just to keep it exciting. :) Sticking £10 on will get you £45.07 back! :)

Game one - Man Utd vs Fulham
Man Utd played well against (an understrength) City team in the Community Shield, and finally looked like a cohesive team. With the signings of De Ligt and Mazroaui then have a feel-good factor going into the game, and hopefully Zirkzee or a more recognised striker will take the spot that Mason Mount had. There were a few balls across the box that would have been smashed in by former player Ruud van Nistelrooy, and having an actual striker on the pitch might pay dividends. United win.

Game two - Ipswich vs Liverpool

Whilst Liverpool might not have much to talk about transfers wise, they have class players all over the field, and will be facing Premier League newcomers. Salah and Van Dijk (amongst others) should have too much for the Tractor men. They are still lacking in a few key spaces (notably at number 6), but Liverpool have a chance to be one of City's main challengers. Liverpool win.

Game three - Arsenal vs Wolves
Arsenal flew out of the blocks at the start of 23/24, and there is no reason to think they won't do any differently. With Calafiori arriving, and Timber having an extra year under his belt, things look good defensively for the Gunners. Saka, Martinelli and Jesus have the skills, and if they can just set Havertz free with the ball, he'll do the rest. Arsenal will be hoping to go one better this time around, and are widely tipped to do so. Arsenal win.

Game four - Chelsea vs City
City won but underwhelmed last week against United, but won all the same. Meanwhile, Chelsea have been having a torrid time trying to work out who plays best where, learning a new system from Maresca, and trying to integrate 45 new players into the team! They lost most games on the pre-season circuit through defensive errors, and I think it will be a few weeks before they get close to being an effective team. It's a tough start for City, but they have the firepower and nouse to win. City win.
