Former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino said that he is already looking forward to a new challenge as rumours intensify about taking over at Manchester United. After almost a year of leaving Tottenham, Pochettino says that he is a refreshed and ready for a new challenge. The Argentine is particularly enthusiastic about the likelihood of top clubs coming in for his services. There is plenty of speculation that Manchester United may look to make a move for the former Espanyol boss if results do not improve under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Red Devils have been struggling for form and consistency in recent weeks. After a disappointing start to the season, the club are 15th in the standings. Pochettino is held in high regards in the Premier League a stellar job with Tottenham. Despite being low on budget, Pochettino was able to oversee a spectacular rise for Spurs from 2014 to 2019. During this period, Spurs became a team with top four ambitions to a team that can even win the title. The Manchester job carries a more pressure, as Pochettino will have significant amount of funds to spend. This is something that Pochettino has had not dealt with in the past, as both Espanyol and Tottenham did not have huge transfer budgets.

It’s not a stress to prepare for a game. It’s not a stress to compete… look, my hair is still getting longer and longer! I am looking forward to being involved in the game again, I love the game,” said Pochettino, who first entered into English football with Southampton in 2013.
