With a total of 33 league games having been played, Leicester City are well on their way of sealing the Premier League title and become the new champions of England. Leicester City have secured a total of 72 points from their opening 33 games while their closest opponents are Tottenham Hotspur who have collected 65 points from that same amount of matches.
The Premier League is reaching it’s final few weeks and it seems like Leicester City are going to be crowned as the kings of England as they have a comfortable lead but Mauricio Pochettino has stated that even though things might appear to be far-fetched, he and his team will not be giving up as they will be giving it everything they have until the last match. Leicester remain the Premier League favourites at 12bet, with Spurs snapping at their heels at 2/1.
“We know we have five games ahead and it is very important we try to win all five games and wait and see if Leicester drop points. It’s important to keep fighting. We have different objectives. The bigger objective is to win title, but then it is to play in the next Champions League.” Tottenham Hotspur’s Mauricio Pochettino said.
Tottenham Hotspur are going through a superb from as they recently claimed a 3-0 triumph over Manchester United and Pochettino is optimistic about the upcoming matches.
This Premier League season has turned out to be one of most unpredictable in the history of the English competition with top clubs such as: Chelsea and Liverpool suffering a number of setbacks and having to settle with a place in the middle section of the Premier League standings for the majority of the season.
Tottenham Hotspur on the other hand has managed to stay in the top spots of the Premier League and has been the only true club able to compete with Leicester City.
